Method launched in 2021 as a developer-first API that makes it easy for developers to embed debt repayment on their app enabling payments to any type of consumer debt – including credit cards, student loans, car loans, and mortgages – all through a single API. 

Since raising a pre-seed from Y Combinator and a handful of VCs in early 2022, Method has added to a suite of products that serves the mission to make personal debt management self-driven and autonomous. Method’s APIs empower users to view and pay debts on any platform, making personal debt management financial institution agnostic.

To make this vision a reality, and sooner, Method’s founding team knew that it needed to find a way to dedicate more of its time and energy to building out a robust product portfolio while also getting Method in the hands of more end-users. 

Co-founder and CEO Jose Bethancourt enlisted Hireframe to build out a done-for-you sales development engine to scale Method’s sales outreach to prospective customers. Hireframe designed and implemented new processes and tech around Method’s existing tech stack and built out a sales development team to scale targeted and personalized sales outreach. 

Method describes working with Hireframe as “transparent, collaborative and easy to implement new changes quickly.” These qualities were vital to meeting the goals of a fast-growing fintech that had plans to release new features and products, expanding its offering and value proposition.

To meet Method’s goals, Hireframe employed best practices and scaled Method’s outreach while retaining the voice and consultative sales approach of the founders. Hireframe quickly got to know Method’s customers and figured out how to connect with them.

In the first three months of working with Hireframe, Method’s ARR increased by 50% and it gained $3 million in pipeline. 

As a follow-up to its initial success with its Payments API, Method released its Data API which allows financial institutions to instantly access their users' complete debt portfolio using just their phone number. Always ready and nimble, Hireframe assisted with Method’s go-to-market strategy for the Data API launch and is ready to do the same for future launches.
