Meet Jen from Silver Tribe Media
My name is Jen Simons. I'm the Chief Content Officer at Silver Tribe Media. At Silver Tribe Media, we build, monetize, and grow direct to consumer media business. And essentially what that means is we work directly with creators and talent to help them build a media company around their brand or their podcast or their show.
What Do Hireframers Do For You?
The Hireframers we have on our staff are mostly editors and graphic designers, and they work closely with our producers and head of talent, creating content, editing podcasts, editing video, designing graphics for social media, designing show logos and artwork and decks for sales. They are completely immersed in our content team and our marketing teams and are really just a part of everyone making content for all of our various clients across all of our partnerships.
Building Your Team
I joined Silver Tribe Media to essentially build out a completely new content and production services part of the business. I had worked with Hireframe at my last job, so as soon as I started at Silver Tribe, I knew they were my first call as I laid the foundation for the team, building up a whole new department from scratch, and I wanted Hireframe to be a part of that. So immediately got some editors and graphic designers on board, and we've been cruising ever since.
Finding the Right People
I think for me and for a lot of people, the hardest part about building any sort of business is finding the right people to be on your team. And that initial outreach is very time consuming. Sifting through the first round of applicants can be very draining. So Hireframe was great to work with in that, where they take all of that off of your plate, allow you to really focus on other parts of building the business. They weed through the first group of candidates. And I think maybe I've met five candidates so far, and I've hired three of them. It's a really, really great ratio. The people that they put through are quality, and I've been overwhelmed and impressed with the applicants that they've sent through for me to evaluate.
What is it like working with Hireframe?
Working with the team at Hireframe has been really great. They're almost an extension of our own HR department. Our account managers, the recruiters, the people operations team, they're super responsive. I don't think I've ever waited longer than a day to get a response back to any question I've had. They hold monthly or bi -weekly meetings, whatever we feel is best. And anytime we have any questions or anything like that, they're always responsive, always there to help. And they're always helping the Hireframe continue to grow.
A Foundation for Silver Tribe Media
Moving forward as we continue to grow Silver Tribe Media, in particular my role in it and the content side, Hireframe continues to be top of mind. When I'm doing budgets, planning for projects, I literally write as a placeholder, Hireframe applicant. I see them as being a part of our team and our strategy long term, being a foundation for Silver Tribe Media. And I continue to recommend them to friends and colleagues and other people as they're looking to staff up and build their teams. The creativity, the dedication and the work ethic is bar none. So I just see Hireframe being part of our future for a very long time.
