We are seeking a highly motivated Web Developer with a mission to recommend and drive new initiatives and support our fast-growing organization. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for building the website from concept to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function. Your innovative ideas and results-oriented approach will be essential to our continued success, and you will play a critical role in driving improvement and innovation as we grow.

This role will be working from home permanently and during U.S. business hours.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Build an interactive, engaging, competent Shopify store to boost sales and increase revenue
• Design customizable Shopify themes and alter existing templates according to established benchmarks
• Expertly manage and oversee all aspects of the eCommerce forum
• Closely collaborate with UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) design teams to build strong, unique, and state-of-the-art user experiences
• Develop seamless connections with platform APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), marketing tools, and Shopify apps to optimize the store for peak efficiency and functionality
• Enhance store performance by regularly testing and debugging the website
• Provide adequate technical support and quality assurance to keep the Shopify store running seamlessly

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or an associated field
• You have 3 years of Webflow and 5 years of an expert-level understanding of Shopify’s Admin System, including shop creation, launch, and management.
• Must understand how to connect back-of-house operations (fulfillment channels, CX, inventory management, etc) to Shopify.
• You have adequate knowledge of “Liquid” for Shopify Themes, Shopify Stores, and JSS software.
• Front-end design experience is a massive plus but must have some form of front-end styling experience.
• Project management experience is a plus
