As a Salesforce Revenue Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in optimizing revenue generation processes and driving efficiency within the sales and finance departments. Leveraging your expertise in Salesforce platform customization, data analysis, and revenue management principles, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, enhance data accuracy, and maximize revenue opportunities.

This role is part time and will be working from home permanently during U.S. business hours.

Duties and Responsibilities

Salesforce Configuration and Customization:

  • Customize the Salesforce CRM platform to meet the specific needs of revenue operations.
  • Configure objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and automation processes to support revenue generation activities.
  • Develop custom reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights into sales performance and revenue metrics.

Data Management and Governance:

  • Implement data governance best practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity within Salesforce.
  • Perform regular data hygiene tasks, including data cleansing, deduplication, and normalization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and establish data quality standards.

Revenue Forecasting and Analysis:

  • Collaborate with finance and sales teams to develop accurate revenue forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and pipeline analysis.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify revenue drivers and potential risks.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to optimize revenue generation and improve forecasting accuracy.

Sales Process Optimization:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline sales processes and improve sales efficiency.
  • Work closely with sales leadership to implement best practices and standardized processes.
  • Conduct regular process audits to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment of revenue generation strategies and goals.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Salesforce platform capabilities and revenue operations processes.
  • Facilitate training sessions and provide ongoing support to end-users to maximize Salesforce adoption and utilization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or Salesforce administration.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM platform configuration and customization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
  • Experience in revenue forecasting, sales analytics, and process optimization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with revenue recognition principles and SaaS business models is a plus.
